There are several different ways to fold a diaper. The method that works best for you will depend on your baby's gender, size and shape as well as you own personal preference. Experiment and find the fold that you prefer. As your baby grows and changes, your preferred fold may change as well!

The Newspaper Fold

Lay the diaper on top of the diaper cover and fold the diaper into thirds. Fold the front of the diaper up just a little so it fits into the diaper cover. Place the baby on the back of the diaper.

Pull the diaper up between baby's legs and secure your diaper cover with your choice of fastener. Be sure all of the prefold diaper is inside of the diaper cover.

The Angel Wing Fold

Lay the diaper on top of the diaper cover and fold both sides of the diaper toward the middle at an angle. Be sure to make the back opening wider than the front. Place the baby on the back of the diaper.

Pull the diaper up between baby's legs and secure your diaper cover with your choice of fastener. Be sure all of the prefold diaper is inside of the diaper cover.

The Bikini Twist

Ideally for girls but will work for boys as well. Lay the diaper on top of the diaper cover and place the baby on the back of the diaper.

Pull the diaper up between baby's legs and twist 180º. Secure your diaper cover with your choice of fastener. Be sure all of the prefold diaper is inside of the diaper cover.
